Extrait du tome 157 de En Fagne et Thiérache sur la métallurgie dans le Couvinois et plus précisement sur les Usines et Fonderies "Saint-Roch". Il raconte les différents évènements de la société de 1952 à 2005 tels que la célébration de la Saint-Eloi en 1952 avec une messe et banquet, la remise des décorations à 22 membres du personnel et la visite des usines du Roi Baudouin en 1962. Il évoque la création des radiateurs Din et chaudières Super Hydroprior en 1963 ainsi que le lancement des chaudières à très basse température en 1980. Elle reçoit le Premier Prix de l’Innovation Energétique pour 1’« Écogroupage ».
En 1977, la société est mise en liquidation en raison de difficultés financières. Cependant une nouvelle société, Saint-Roch-Couvin, est créée pour reprendre l'activité.
